Notes By Wrappers: I've been using Vvivid vinyl for over 2 years and the chrome vinyl was a challenging learning experience. For the chrome installs on flat surfaces, its best keep the clear film on to prevent scratches. For curved and deep grooved areas that require a bit of a stretch, I found it works best to remove the clear film and use a detail spray along with a suede tip squeegee. I use ZERO heat on the vinyl during the install and work in a 75-80 degree enclosed, clean bay. A low heat setting is used once the vinyl has all been applied to ensure longer durability. This Corvette was completed in roughly 20-24 hours. We delivered this beauty back to its owner in Austin and he couldn't be happier!
