Paint replacement films are in it's infancy. The industry is growing very rapidly as more uses are discovering this type of product. It began as printing media being applied on flat surfaces for promotion.

Soon, the public realized having company logos printed on vehicles was an easy, constant and economical way of constant advertising. This demand began the production of thermo-form films that can conform to the complex shapes of a vehicle and allow for a full advertising wrap. In the lower 48 states, requests began coming in from people who wanted to change the color of their paint without the work involved of refinishing a car. They asked for thermo-form films being painted in a single solid color.
